Winter in Salem
After the madness of Halloween, Salem becomes quiet again. The tourists go home, and the streets are emptier, calmer. The air turns cold, and there is something magical about walking the streets there at night: the cold air, the dark sky, the warm, yellow lights spilling out from windows along the street. After a summer of sea and sand, and an eventful fall, Salem residents turn to indoor pursuits in winter. Live music is played in several restaurants and bars and actors present plays from classic to experimental. Art galleries and small witchy shops make for warm places to escape the cold and do some holiday shopping.
